Skin Resurfacing

Microdermabrasion uses fine abrasive particles to achieve keratolysis, superficial exfoliation of stratum cornea, used for " cleaning " before other treatments.

Microneedling stimulates percutaneous collagen production achieved by repeated puncturing of the skin with fine needles which activates wound healing resulting in new formation of sub-epidermal collagen & elastin. Also used in conjunction with mesotherapy –injecting dermaceuticals into the skin through the channels created by the fine needles.

Chemical Peels cause the controlled destruction of layers of the skin at required depth without scarring resulting in exfoliation & regeneration. Used for sun damaged skin, mild scarring, wrinkles & dyschromia.
Anti-Wrinkle Treatments

Small quantities of the neurotoxin derived from Clostridium botulinum bacteria are
injected into target muscles to inhibit acetylcholine release at the neuromuscular junction. This temporarily reduces muscle contractions and smooths dynamic skin wrinkles. Acetylcholine release is also inhibited at the neuroglandular junctions in apocrine sweat glands thereby treating hyperhidrosis.

Microtox is a technique where multiple small wheals of dilute botulinum toxin are injected onto the skin to relax muscle fibres under the skin. This reduces fine lines and improves skin texture whilst preserving muscle function.
Dermal Fillers

This involves injection into the skin as corrective measures for skin aging - to smooth static lines & wrinkles, for augmentation purposes and facial contouring such as lip and malar enhancement. Hyaluronic acid is most commonly used which provides structural support, nutrients, adds volume and fullness to the skin giving a glowing texture.
LED Therapy

Light of specific wavelengths in the visible & invisible light spectrum are delivered to the various layers of the skin to stimulate and activate cellular activities & processes (photomodulation). It was invented by NASA for wound healing in space. It is recommended for non-invasive skin rejuvenation, collagen & elastin stimulation, scar prevention, photoaging, acne, rosacea, age spots, fine lines, wrinkles and wound healing e.g in chronic non-healing ulcers.
Skin Rejuvination

Skinboosters are the latest advancement in skin rejuvenation. This involves tiny amounts of hyaluronic acid mixed with other skin nutrients delivered into the top layers of skin intended to replenish the hydration, improve light reflection, smooth the skin canvas from within.
Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) using platelet rich plasma derived from the patient's blood for use in skin & scalp conditions. The platelet concentrate stimulates stem cell migration, proliferation, fibroblasts and endothelial cells. Plasma molecules vital for coagulation and formation of fibrin serve as a scaffold for cell migration and tissue regeneration, leaving skin renewed and revitalised.
Dermaceuticals

We also stock award winning scientifically developed dermaceuticals for use in Sonophoresis and Mesotherapy procedures and for skin aftercare.
Sonophoresis - a transdermal permeation enhancement technique that uses ultrasound to drive molecules into & across the skin.
Mesotherapy - involves using micro-fine needles to inject dermaceuticals and biostimulants into the skin. It tightens loose skin, reduces appearances of wrinkles & fine lines, lightens pigmented skin and treats alopecia.
